Ahead of his forthcoming new album, The Meth Lab, legendary rapper and sometime Wu-Tang Clansman Method Man is back with a new single, and the title track from his record. Teaming up with long term collaborators Hanz On and Streetlife for the song, its fresh and fierce and features Method Man demanding your attention.
Characterised by this 80 soundtrack of a backing provided by Cee the Architek, all three protagonist of the rhyme give their all, chock full of street life, meth labs (no surprises there) and living life on the street. Such is the depth of the delivery and the stark reality of the rhymes that its entirely believable, as well as being instantly attractive.
There’s plenty of pretenders to thrones belonging to the likes of Method Man. Seems he’s still very much in charge just at the moment.
