News: Chappell Roan announces two-night LA fundraiser through The Midwest Princess Project

Chappell Roan has announced The Super Graphic Spectacular, a two-night Los Angeles fundraiser bringing music, drag, comedy and community action together in support of LGBTQ+ communities.

Taking place at The Shrine on October 21 and 22, 2026, the event is the flagship annual fundraiser for Roan’s non-profit initiative, The Midwest Princess Project. Roan will headline both nights, with further artists, special guests, drag performers and comedians still to be announced.

Rather than simply attaching a charitable component to a pair of concerts, The Super Graphic Spectacular is being built as a wider celebration of music, creativity and community. Alongside the live performances, attendees will have opportunities to take part in local hands-on volunteer initiatives supporting LGBTQ+ community organisations.

Every dollar raised by the event will go towards The Midwest Princess Project’s ongoing programmes and partner organisations.

Founded by Roan in 2025, the organisation has become an increasingly significant extension of the singer’s public advocacy. Built around fundraising, advocacy and community engagement, the project has supported more than 60 organisations, including The Ali Forney Center, The LGBT Center, TransLatin@ Coalition and Trans Wellness Center.

The project also continues to support Backline, which provides mental health resources and services for people working across the music industry.

The announcement arrives one year into The Midwest Princess Project’s work and follows Roan’s Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things pop-up shows. Those sold-out events brought surprise guests and local drag performers onto the bill while raising money for the project. Donations and proceeds connected to the shows have helped take its fundraising beyond $800,000 to date.

That work follows Roan’s We Got You! Fund, established after her Best New Artist Grammy acceptance speech, where she used one of the industry’s biggest platforms to call for record labels to provide artists with liveable wages and healthcare.

It is a commitment that has developed alongside Roan’s extraordinary rise through pop music. Songs including ‘Pink Pony Club’, ‘HOT TO GO!’, ‘Good Luck, Babe!’, ‘The Giver’ and ‘The Subway’ have taken her from cult favourite to one of contemporary pop’s biggest names, while giving her an increasingly powerful platform for the causes and communities she has consistently championed.

The Super Graphic Spectacular brings those different parts of Roan’s world together.

Across the two nights, audiences can expect live performances, drag, comedy, special guests and community engagement opportunities, culminating in headline performances from Roan and collaborators. More artists, guests and auction details will be announced in the coming months.

Tickets are being handled through Fair AXS, with fans required to register before being given the opportunity to purchase. Registration closes Tuesday, August 11 at 8.59pm PT, with selected applicants beginning to receive notifications on Monday, August 17.

Selected fans will then receive private, one-time purchase links tied to their AXS accounts, with ticket sales taking place in waves between August 18 and 20. Registration does not guarantee tickets, and tickets within each purchasing window remain subject to availability.

There will undoubtedly be plenty of spectacle at The Shrine across those two nights. But The Super Graphic Spectacular also shows how Roan is increasingly finding ways to turn the enormous attention surrounding her music into something that reaches well beyond the stage.
