UK producer, songwriter and saxophonist Charlie Jeer is gearing up for his first Australian tour this November, and he’s announced three local artists joining him across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Melbourne gets Australian-Māori producer and DJ Kuzco, whose club-focused sound draws on the energy of Australia’s underground dance scene. In Sydney, Lebanese-Australian artist GAZAL will open the sold-out show, bringing her sharp observations on modern relationships and genre-blurring pop. Rounding out the tour in Brisbane are Gold Coast duo daste, whose laid-back mix of indie-pop, R&B and soul has earned them more than 2.5 million monthly Spotify listeners.

At just 23, Jeer is building a sizeable following with a sound that sits somewhere between jazz, deep house and neo-soul. His live saxophone is central to the mix, cutting through electronic beats and smooth melodies that have helped him rack up more than 150 million streams across digital platforms.

Since launching his solo project in 2023, Jeer has made steady progress beyond the UK club circuit. Breakthrough single Her Eyes helped introduce his music to a wider audience, while support slots with David Guetta at Silverstone’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix and Becky Hill at Canterbury Live have put him in front of considerably bigger crowds.

He’s also picked up support from the likes of Calvin Harris, Jamie Jones and Black Coffee, alongside a growing online audience that includes more than 620,000 TikTok followers.

Jeer arrives in Australia with his recently released album Take Away My Problems and new single Small Talk, featuring Cat Burns. The track is already receiving Australian radio support, giving local audiences a taste of what’s to come.

With Sydney already sold out, Jeer’s debut Australian visit is shaping up to be a solid introduction to an artist bringing live musicianship back into the electronic music conversation.
