Disturbed are heading back Down Under for the first time in more than a decade, bringing their The Sickness & Greatest Hits tour to Australia and New Zealand in April and May 2027.
The Chicago metal heavyweights are going all in on their 2000 debut album The Sickness, performing the record in full before returning for a second set packed with hits from across their career. There’s even an intermission, giving fans a chance to recover before round two.
The seven-date arena tour kicks off in Auckland on 22 April, followed by Christchurch on 24 April, before crossing the Tasman for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. Sydney fans can catch the band at Afterpay Arena on Saturday 1 May.
Fronted by David Draiman, Disturbed burst onto the scene in 2000 with The Sickness, an album that helped define the sound of early-2000s metal. Tracks including Down With The Sickness and Stupify became staples of the genre, while later releases delivered hits such as Stricken, Inside The Fire and their hugely successful cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence.
More than 25 years on, the band’s numbers speak for themselves. They’ve sold over 17 million records, amassed nearly 14 billion streams and scored five consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200, a feat matched in hard rock only by Metallica.
Their most recent album, 2022’s Divisive, kept the momentum going with tracks including Hey You and Unstoppable. The band have also just wrapped a major run through North America, the UK and Europe, playing to more than half a million fans.
Now Australian and New Zealand audiences finally get their turn. With The Sickness played from start to finish and another set of career-spanning favourites, Disturbed are giving fans plenty to look forward to.
General public tickets go on sale Friday 30 October at 1pm local time.
