News: Frankie Alpha Unleashes Hypnotic New Single ‘I’m All Over The Place Right Now’

Sonically eclectic UK-based producer Frankie Alpha releases the hypnotic new IDM sweller ‘I’m All Over The Place Right Now’ on 22nd August 2025, the latest single in a seasonally inspired series of drops leading up to his highly anticipated debut EP.

The track sees Alpha pushing his production to new heights, abandoning familiar restraints in favor of uncharted sonic exploration. “What started out as a foray into acid house, became an entirely different beast. In the past, I’ve been known to take a tangent or two midway through electronic pieces, before learning how to reign myself back in, avoiding unnecessary complexity. Not with this one. My brain got a free pass for all the rides in the theme park. I’d describe it as controlled chaos. The key was crafting synergy throughout the framework, allowing cohesive progression. For a relatively slow bpm track, this has relentless momentum, despite various cool-down zones. It weaves through passages casting a nod to the likes of Aphex Twin, The Prodigy, and the later progressive house scene, as it builds to a riotous crescendo. For your twisted festival floor experience, or one to whack on at the after party.”

The track balances high-energy dance floor appeal with a more introspective, experimental edge thanks to its inventive sound pallet and production. Demonstrating Alpha’s ability to maintain cohesion while embracing creative freedom the track is a great example of Alpha’s potential. Bringing nod to electronic legends while retaining a distinct identity, the track moves through moments of EDM euphoria to others of ethereal ambience over a tight and driving four to the floor.

Alpha’s forthcoming debut EP will formally define his electronic sound after years of exploration, featuring a diverse range of tracks including playful falsetto vocals, instrumental bangers influenced by Warp Records and Caribou, slinky summer festival cuts, and a punchy collaboration with Giulia Poppy of Dope Rooms. “I want this EP to convey the message: no two FA tracks will be the same, but you may well recognise a distinctive feel passing the speaker,” he adds. Each single is strategically timed to align with UK and European seasonal moods, enhancing the listening experience.
