After making a powerful first impression at Good Things Festival 2024, From Ashes to New are returning to Australia for their first-ever headline tour, bringing New Zealand-born, Melbourne-based heavy outfit Banks Arcade along for the ride.
The Pennsylvania five-piece will kick off the run in Sydney on 9 October before heading to Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, giving Australian fans their first opportunity to experience a full-length headline set from one of modern rock’s fastest-rising acts.
Since forming in 2013, From Ashes to New have forged a sound that fuses hard rock, alternative metal, hip hop and electronic music into something distinctly their own. Across five albums, the band have amassed billions of streams, sold out headline tours and shared stages with Shinedown, Motionless In White, Bad Wolves, Asking Alexandria and Ice Nine Kills, steadily establishing themselves as one of the defining names in contemporary rock.
The tour arrives in support of Reflections, released earlier this year. Rather than repeating the radio-friendly formula that first brought them mainstream success, the album pushes further into alternative metal territory, with standout single ‘Drag Me’ earning the band’s first Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1 and signalling another step forward in their evolution.
Australian audiences first caught a glimpse of the band’s live reputation during their Good Things Festival appearances and intimate club shows in 2024, performances that left many hoping a dedicated tour would follow.
Opening each night are Banks Arcade, whose boundary-pushing mix of metalcore, hip hop and electronic music has seen them emerge as one of Australia’s most exciting heavy acts. Fresh from the release of singles ‘DON’T MISS’, ‘ROCKSTAR’ and ‘SEVERANCE’, the band continue to expand their sonic palette while building a reputation through sold-out headline shows and support slots with The Plot In You, Northlane and Thornhill.
