News: Good Charlotte Return to Australia in 2026 for Motel Du Cap World Tour

It’s been eight years since Good Charlotte last stepped foot on Australian stages — and in February 2026, they’ll finally be back. The band has announced their Motel Du Cap World Tour, the first dates of which land squarely on Australian and New Zealand soil, marking a long-awaited homecoming for one of the defining voices of early-2000s alternative rock.

Go HERE for ticketing information.

Kicking off in Perth on February 17th, the tour will move through Brisbane, Bendigo, and Sydney, before wrapping in Auckland on February 27th. Every Australian date will feature support from Yellowcard and Kisschasy — a lineup that reads like a generation’s mixtape.

The tour celebrates Motel Du Cap, Good Charlotte’s upcoming eighth studio album — their first in seven years. Written after a private performance at the actual Hotel du Cap in France, the record captures a band rediscovering its own roots: stripped-back guitars, melodic honesty, and the kind of lived-in wisdom that only comes with time.

Frontman Joel Madden says the return feels personal. “Australia is such a special place to Good Charlotte and to me personally — it feels like a home away from home. It’s been far too long since we’ve spent time with our Aussie fans.”

Joining them are Yellowcard, who returned this year with Better Days, their most reflective work yet — produced by blink-182’s Travis Barker. And opening the shows, Kisschasy continue their reawakening, following the reissue of Hymns For the Nonbeliever and the release of Lie To Me earlier this year.

Good Charlotte’s Australian story runs deep: multi-platinum sales, multiple #1 ARIA albums, and a fanbase that’s grown up — but never out — of their music. From Lifestyles of the Rich & the Famous to I Just Wanna Live, these songs once soundtracked teenage bedrooms and late-night drives. Now, they return to fill arenas again.
