News: Joey Valence & Brae Announce Australian and New Zealand Tour

State College, Pennsylvania duo Joey Valence & Brae have announced their return to Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand, confirming a run of headline dates this April. The tour follows their first visit in 2025, which saw sold-out shows in Sydney and Melbourne alongside a high-profile appearance at Laneway Festival.

This time around, the pair arrive with their latest album HYPERYOUTH, released late last year and written, produced, mixed and mastered entirely by Joey Valence in his home studio. The record builds on the duo’s established foundations of sample-heavy hip-hop, breakneck pacing and electronic crossover, while sharpening its focus on identity, momentum and the push-and-pull between youthfulness and growth. Collaborations with JPEGMAFIA, Rebecca Black and TiaCorine add texture without diluting the project’s core.

Stream HYPERMOUTH HERE.

Joey Valence & Brae first broke through with PUNK TACTICS, a track that travelled quickly from underground spaces to wider pop-culture moments, fuelled by its collision of boom-bap, punk energy and internet-era humour. Since then, the duo have continued to refine a sound that draws freely from hip-hop history while remaining rooted in the present.

Their upcoming Australian and New Zealand dates are set to be their largest in the region to date, positioning HYPERYOUTH as a live statement as much as a recorded one. Pre-sale tickets go on sale Tuesday 20 January at 10am local time, with general sale following on Wednesday 21 January.
