News: Laneway Festival 2027 lineup is here

Laneway Festival has always had a knack for catching artists at exactly the right moment. Over the years, its stages have hosted names on the cusp of becoming considerably bigger propositions, alongside established acts that rarely turn up on the same Australian festival bill.

Now Laneway is ready to do it all again in 2027, and this year’s lineup has landed.

Fontaines D.C. lead the charge, returning to Laneway for the first time in four years with an extended headline set and new music from forthcoming fifth album Dopamine Chamber. They are joined at the top of the bill by The Hayley Williams Show, marking the Paramore frontwoman’s first Australian performances as a solo artist. With her Sydney and Melbourne headline shows already sold out, Laneway will be the only other Australian opportunity to catch Williams on this visit.

The lineup runs deep, with Slayyyter, ADÉLA, Kim Petras, MUNA, Rico Nasty, Rachel Chinouriri and Ninajirachi joining the bill. Ninajirachi’s rise is particularly striking, moving from an interstitial DJ slot at Laneway 2025 to headlining the Everything Ecstatic Stage two years later. Elsewhere, HorsegiirL, Rommulas, Danny L Harle, Daine, Jane Remover, Tiffany Day, DIIV, Automatic, Balu Brigada and Violet Grohl join Irish acts Bleech 9:3, Florence Road and Gurriers, while Ecca Vandal, Public Figures, Swapmeet and Trials bolster the Australian contingent. 1TBSP and DJ_Dave will keep things moving between sets.

The 2027 run kicks off in Sydney on Friday, February 12, with Laneway returning to Centennial Park on Gadigal and Bidjigal land. The festival then heads north to Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, February 13 before arriving at Melbourne’s Flemington Park on Friday, February 19.

Laneway wraps up across the Tasman at Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau’s Western Springs on Sunday, February 21. The Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne events are 16+, while Auckland is 18+.
