Marking his first musical offering of 2024, Matt Wescott unveils ‘Lost’, a tender love ballad released fittingly on Valentine’s Day.

Characterised by its gentle melodies and heartfelt lyricism comparable to Van Morison, ‘Lost’ shines a light on Wescott’s luminous vocal performance, delicate melodies and bright, intricate instrumental arrangements.

Crafted in collaboration with Aimee Proal, ‘Lost’ exudes a gentle radiance, with its lyrics delving into themes of intimacy and commitment. Wescott reflects on the song’s meaning, stating, “Lost is a dark love song. It’s about following someone down to the depths and being there for them no matter what.”

Hailing from the picturesque county of Somerset in the UK, Matt Wescott made his musical debut in the latter part of the previous year with singles like ‘Nice To Meet You’ and ‘Run Away With Me’. Drawing from his extensive live experience, which includes performances at renowned venues across London, Bristol, and Bath, as well as appearances on festival stages, Wescott is no stranger to captivating audiences with his music.

Transitioning into the realm of solo artistry, Matt Wescott is steadily garnering recognition and securing placements on editorial playlists. ‘Lost’ serves as the third single from his upcoming debut solo EP ‘Echoes Around The Sun’. ‘Lost’ is a buoyant, soulful and heartfelt addition to his catalogue.
