Metalcore heavyweights Memphis May Fire are returning to Australia in 2026 — and they’re bringing Arizona legends Blessthefall along for the ride. Following a 2024 tour that saw five sold-out shows and over 1,600 fans left on waiting lists, the Texas band is making good on a promise to come back bigger, louder, and with a brand-new album in tow.

“We know it’ll be a long time before we make it back after this album cycle,” says frontman Matty Mullins, “so we wanted to make it up to everyone who missed out last time.” The result is one of the most anticipated metalcore double-bills Australia has seen in years — a collision of two genre titans with over two decades of combined touring power.

Formed in Denton, Texas, Memphis May Fire have built their reputation on razor-sharp riffs and emotionally charged songwriting, with albums like Unconditional and Remade in Misery solidifying their place among modern metal’s elite. Their live shows are renowned for their intensity — a balance of chaos and catharsis that leaves no one standing still.

Meanwhile, Blessthefall make their long-awaited return to Australian stages after nine years, performing a full headline-length set each night. Known for their mix of melody and ferocity, the Phoenix outfit bring a sense of purpose and connection to their performances. As Jennifer Blac of Capital Chaos TV wrote, “From the first note, it’s clear this isn’t just a concert — it’s an immersive journey into the heart of metalcore.”

Together, these two bands form a tour that’s equal parts reunion and reckoning — a chance for fans to relive the passion and power that define the genre.
