News: The Marches ‘Come Back Around’ With Powerful New Single

Scottish breakout all-girl rock quartet The Marches return with an anthemic, emotionally charged new single, ‘Come Back Around’ released 30th May via Revo Pro Records.

Blending infectious pop hooks with intricate musicianship and a melancholy edge, it’s a striking showcase of a band with a unique sonic approach. Capturing the pop-rock flare of Avril Lavigne with a striking musical complexity thanks to the intricate guitar work,. ‘Come Back Around’ is both catchy and accessible whilst retaining a musical depth.

For lead guitarist and songwriter Jane Jenkins, the song has deep personal roots.

I wrote this about five or six years ago.” Jenkins shares. “At the time, I was surrounded by musicians—seeing them gig, play in bands, and really live that creative life. I was desperate to be part of something like that myself, but I wasn’t gigging or in a band yet, and it was frustrating. The song came out of that feeling—just wanting to keep practicing, keep going, and hoping that something would eventually click. And thankfully, it did!”

Since bursting onto the Ayrshire and Paisley scene in summer 2024, The Marches have carved a fierce path through Scotland’s indie landscape. Known for their punchy live shows and magnetic stage presence, the quartet has already sold out Glasgow’s legendary Poetry Club, headlined King Tut’s New Year Revolution festival, and earned early backing from BBC Introducing Scotland and tastemaker press.

Now signed to Revo Pro Records and managed by One Roof Music Management, The Marches are gearing up for what looks to be a breakout 2025. Their latest release, ‘Come Back Around’, is an undeniable step forward, both artistically and emotionally.
