LA singer songwriter Julia Paymer, now based in Nashville – has returned with her new single, Therapy, out tomorrow (January 29th), and ahead of its released we’re delighted to be able to premiere it right here on Backseat Mafia.
Opening with this delicate piano line, Therapy details just that, being in therapy and its benefits and stories. It’s a hazy slice of indie/alt-pop, which deals in melancholy and emotion, Paymer’s vocal the sound of heartbreak as she wrings the sadness out of it.
