See: Behemoth Drop New Visual From Forthcoming Live Album, ‘In Absentia Dei’

Ahead of their second monumental ‘XXX Years Ov Blasphemy’ livestream extravaganza this Halloween, Behemoth offer another taste from 2020’s ground-breaking ‘In Absentia Dei’ livestream spectacular with the hauntingly beautiful ‘Bartzabel’, taken from their upcoming audio-visual album of the event, set for release on 17th December via Nuclear Blast Records.

Behemoth’s frontman and visionary, Nergal states,

“In Absentia Dei was a massive challenge and a huge risk, but it was a great artistic and commercial success. The response was absolutely brilliant – we made a statement with this performance and set the bar high. I hope that we can continue to raise the bar with the projects to come!”

After the huge thumbing of drums and ominous guitar that opens the proceedings the track takes on a religious vibe, with the chant like backing vocals and the passionate vocal performance from Nergel. Whatever it is, it’s a blessing to behold a band that create such visionary brilliance with music to match. This is Behemoth doing what Behemoth do well.
