French symphonic death-metal band Exanimis have shared the music video for new song, Cogs, Gears and Clockworks, taken from their forthcoming debut album “Marionnettiste”, due 5th March via Klonosphere Records/Season of Mist. The new video was directed by Tom Capron with the editing and visual effects done by Antoine Binet.
Epic in scale with lovely intricate moments and full of drama. This track is as well constructed as the video to go with. Whisper vocals that come with a sinister edge clash with a demented piano and an almost fun fair sounding distorted guitar with a menacing bass line. Albeit an evil fun fair. Theres a lot going on here and the sheer talent of the songwriting is quite breathtaking to be hold.
