Taken from her soon to be released debut album To Love is To Live, out on June 12th via Caroline Records, Savages frontwoman Jehnny Beth has released a video from her latest single to be taken from it, Innocence.
It’s a dark, usually sparse affair, her vocal alternating between the bitter of the verse to the sweet of the chorus, where she’s joined by winding synths and forboding guitar sounds, as she tells of feeling isolated in cities despite spending time with people around her.
The song is accompanied by by a video shot in rehearsal for one of her incendiary shows. Check it out, here
