Track: Australian Punks Black Heart Breakers issue new single, ‘Pressure Drop’

With all the feel good sounds that echo such bands as Green Day, Rancid and The Interrupters, Black Heart Breakers are back with the latest in a long line of foot tapping hand clapping songs. Aussie punk seems to be at a point of bursting at the moment, with all sub genres being covered by some outstanding bands at the moment, the likes of Aborted Tortoise and Crash And the Crapenters being at the forefront.

‘Pressure Drop’ is the first of three singles you can expect from the 3 piece with newly acquainted Christain Scanu (Molly & The Krells) on Drums

Singer/Songwriter Hayden had this to say: “It’s sort of like a wish fulfilment song. Someone who’s sick of slaving away at a job they hate and feeling like their life is slipping away. They’re sick of anxiety and sick of everything. So they quit everything and learn to appreciate the smaller things in life and to smell the roses more. Everyone at sometime wishes they could do it. That’s what the story is about but it’s also just about to trying to relax, don’t sweat the smaller stuff kinda thing. We all tend to over analyse and stress ourselves out, over things that probably won’t matter in 2 months.”

“Pressure Drop” is out on Spotify & all major platforms.
