TRACK: Burial, Four Tet and Thom Yorke’s ‘Her Revolution’ is a psychedelic ‘tronica beauty

IF YOU’RE involved in deep vinyl Twitter, you may have noticed some shops offering a plain black 12″, plain black sleeve, strickly flesh customers only, these past few days, with some kind of whisper of Four Tet involvement about it; and indeed so, because the unmarked single is indeed a hugely limited two-track release by Four Tet, once again teaming up with Burial and Thom Yorke for a record of incredible, exploratory, downbeat beauty; a tremendous sweep of psychedelic electronica.

There were 300 only and if you’re of a delicate disposition avert thine eyes from eBay, where despite only being available on vinyl a week, copies are already being quoted as nigh on, and well past three figures. Yikes.

But take some comfort in that you can hear the lead track, “Her Revolution”, here; we’ve embedded it for you. We need speak no more of how good it is.

It has been nine years now since the three’s first release together, the double A-side “Ego”/”Mirror’” subdued release for 2020.

Both tracks are available to stream now on digital service providers.
