Cub Scout Bowling Pins is a new secret identity of indie rock super-heroes Guided By Voices. They plan on dropping their EP Heaven Beats Lowa on 7″ and CD on January 22 via Rockathon Records. The band have shared the title track off the EP – ‘Heaven Beats Iowa’
Led by a bright organ and surf guitar this track comes with a hint of 70s. Think Happy Day’s inspired joy and you will get close to what this addictive track brings. With the impressive productive rate of Guided By Voices last year, it looks like the creative force behind both bands still burning bright as it has for many years.
