TRACK: hear sweet new ballad from Dublin’s Milk

DUBLIN quartet Milk have made new track “Always On Time” available on SoundCloud as a taster for their six-tracker 1, The EP, which goes on sale on June 19th.

“Always On Time” is dreamy and languid, building to a brass-laden crescendo as the guitars shift up. It’s a delicate ¾-time sweetheart, wrapping you up warm, with a little of Snow Patrol in its DNA.

Vocalist Mark McKenna says: “Always On Time is a song more about admiration of the attributes of one you love rather than the love itself.

“I don’t know if I would consider any songs on this EP to be love songs, but I would definitely consider some to be about what I thought was love at the time, but [which] just turned out to be infatuation or confusion.”
