Over the Summer of 2020 Jonny recorded his debut solo album at Eiger Studios, Leeds and is set for release in early 2021. ‘A.A.Gill’ is the lead single and first song to be released from the album via Mönch Records.
Upbeat strummed acoustic and a hazy vocal line draws you in. There’s a 70s feel to the weaving guitars as a lead is picked out on electric over the frantic strumming. Woolnough gives a great vocal performance and his gravely voice pairs so well with the music. A great introduction and a slice of what is coming early next year.
