North East Rapper Leddie MC is finishing her year off with her last single ‘Way Back When’ featuring Eyeconic and Chris Davison.
Urban falsetto hook starts things off before Leddie and Eyeconic take turns to reminisce of days gone by before life got in the way over strummed acoustic. There two vocals work really well here with both giving an honest appraisal of the damages of life, from bullying to losing love ones to being demoralised by the music industry. This maybe a somewhat downbeat track to end the year on, but it’s one full of hope. A look to a brighter future as Leddie makes peace with the past and looks to a brighter future doing what she does best.
