Newcastle quintet Negatives, comprised of Benjamin Michael Smith (Vocals), Andrew Sparham (Guitar), Sam Wingrove (Guitar), Aidan Matthews (Bass), and Alex Watson (Drums),have shared their brand new single and video ‘Mimic’.
Vocalist Benjamin Michael Smith remarks:
“Exploring the effects anxiety disorders have on the body and mind, as well as drawing from my own personal experience, ‘Mimic’ is an aggressive and frantic track which provided a tremendous amount of catharsis right the way through the writing, recording and release”
The track has such an addictive groove that you can’t help but be dragged under along with its heaviness. The relentless drums and dragging bass mix with the slightly unhinged vocals to create an eerie masterpiece. A brutal kick in the head that hits right to the core.
