Kaleva Kovalainen solo project Obscure Fate have shared a new single – ‘Black Moon’. Taken from their upcoming EP Raven’s Call which is set to be released on April 1st 2021 by Inverse Records.
The band comments:
“Black Moon handles death and the feelings regarding to it. One can anyway interpret the lyrics in its own way.”
Says lyricist Tapio Härkönen.
“This track represents the newer productions for the oldest track from the EP is already composed over ten years ago. Black Moon has appropriate amount of different elements combined that are established on Obscure Fate’s music.” States composer Kaleva Kovalainen.
Gymnastics riffing on the guitar join a work out for Tapio Härkönen’s vocal cords too, as he swaps clean and guttural vocals. Theres so much going on with this track, but a couple of spins and it sinks in and you can’t help but have the vocal line running through your head for the rest of the day.
