Swedish melodic death metal band Sailor Hunter are set to release their new EP ‘Evolution’ on May 24th 2024 via Inverse Records. After sharing the first single ‘Ashes‘ last month the band returned with the second single Condemned by Creation.
The band comments:
“This song delves into the intricate relationship between a creator and their creation. It navigates the emotional landscape of regret, reflection and the weight of unintended consequences. The lyric captures the internal struggle of grappling with the sometimes bad effect of one’s own creative endeavors.”
A thunderous return on the second single that sees the drums lead the way with some colossal cymbal abuse. With a more melodic chorus the verses in contrast sit as slabs of black tinged metal. Its songs like this that build the excitement of what the band have in store on the album.
