Track: SDH – The Scent

SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) is the new project of two figures of the synth-wave/industrial scene of Barcelona. After their debut digital EP ‘Tell Them’ they have released this full length follow up

Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, founders of the Cønjuntø Vacíø label and also in the post-punk band Wind Atlas, unveil a new act more oriented towards pop music.

The new single taken from the upcoming LP, The Scent, certainly has a pop-like structure. While clearly embracing the darker side of synth genres and a nod to the new romantics along the way, the vocals and song in general have a strong influence from Grimes. Going on their previous material, this new LP should cover a varied cross section of electronica.
Semiotics Department Of Heteronyms is out May 25.
