We are very honoured to premiere the deliciously cool new track ‘Fast Machine’ from Sydney band Before The King. ‘Fast Machine’ is primed to the hilt and full of a zesty, cathartic swagger in the best traditions of a brand of rock’n’roll that veers towards the brazen and the cool.
There is detectable an Arctic Monkeys-flavoured tone: a louche, wry delivery with a cool, distant and observational lyrical style. This is underpinned by a thunderous pounding rhythm section and scuzzy, fuzzy, filthy guitars. Black leather jackets, arched eyebrows, a sneering look with a gold-plated irresponsible code of behaviour: these rock’n’roll icons weep from every pore.
