Bristol-based producer, songwriter, and vocalist Sig Sali returns with ‘his most beguiling release to date in the form of ‘Yozeke (Psychopath)’, a hypnotic yet punchy indietronica out today. Marking the next chapter in his creative evolution, the track delivers a potent mix of hyper-pop aesthetics, indie-rock textures, and glitch-infused electronic production—all wrapped in Sig Sali’s distinctive, vocoder-washed vocal style.
A standout cut from his forthcoming EP Chaos In My Mind, ‘Yozeke’ captures the duality that runs through Sig Sali’s music: emotionally raw yet sonically bold, dreamy but volatile. Co-produced between Sig Sali and Freddie Cowan (The Vaccines, Freddie & The Scenarios), before being mixed by Ricardo Acasuso (The Vaccines), the single draws on lo-fi synth work, abrasive guitar lines, and haunting melodies to create a soundscape that is both accessible and subversively experimental.
Speaking on the track, Sig Sali shares:
“This song is about being drawn to chaos and romanticising the danger in someone who probably doesn’t even have the capacity to love you back… It’s messy, obsessive, kind of self-aware but still reckless… There’s a kind of twisted romance in wanting someone who hurts you, and this song doesn’t shy away from that. It leans into the ache.”
