Following the release of her double lead singles ‘Cherry‘ and ‘Under the Sun‘, Spellling (the performing name of Chrystia Cabral) has shared a lush orchestral version of the minimal synth based favourite ‘Hard to Please (Reprise)’ featured on Spellling’s album Mazy Fly’s. The new version is taken from her forthcoming new album due the 25th of August via Sacred Bones. A collection of richly envisioned new versions of songs from throughout Cabral’s critically-acclaimed discography.

A striking track of beautifully produced melodies and summery strings that match Cabral’s vivid vocals. It’s a jazz tinged pop masterpiece thats warm and inviting and hugely listenable. It’s liberating and a joy to be in a world where Cabral is choosing to create music.
