Backseat Lovers have shared the video for ‘Slowing Down’ the third single taken from their forthcoming album ‘Waiting to Spill’ due the 28th of October via Polydor. The band have also announced a run of seven spring 2023 dates. Alongside the special, tour-closing performance in the capital, The Backseat Lovers play the ornate O2 Ritz, Manchester having played the intimate 110-capacity Gulliver’s pub in the same city just 18 months prior.
The band make some epic sounding tracks, and Slowing Down is another cracker. Soft vocals that sound so powerful hypnotic drum beat and an awesome interplay between the two guitars. The real magic is within the production qualities of the track. It’s what allows the track to have such an emotive impact with the balance between vocals and instruments giving such a crisp clear sound with plenty of space for the track to breathe. This band should be bigger than they are.
