Track: The Pinx – Ten Years Gone (Led Zeppelin Cover)

The Pinx are set to release their brand new single ’Ten Years Gone’ a cover of the Led Zeppelin classic via all streaming services on 5th May 2023

The band have currently been busy recording a collection of cover songs including tracks from Fleetwood Mac and Tom Pretty. ’Ten Years Gone’ happens to be the first release of these sessions.

Lead Vocalist Adam states:

“Chance and I really enjoy this song a lot, we feel like it is possibly Jimmy Page’s greatest composition for the juggernaut that is Led Zeppelin. Therefore it’s great fun and a great honour to be able to put it on and see how it fits. This song embodies the kind of light and shade we were shooting for on our fourth album”

The band do a cracking job with this faithful modern retake of this lesser known Led Zep track. Adam delivers a powerful performance following the tracks dynamics as his voice goes from a soft whisper to a vicious rock n roll bite. The track really shines when the full band join in bringing a hint of psychedelia with the guitar work. A gorgeous track to get lost in.
