Hemel Hempstead’s Punk Newcomers, Ramona Marx release new video for ‘Seek The Day’. Bursting with raw, pent-up aggression, the single highlights the bands unquestionable potential.
‘Seek The Day’ encapsulates Ramona Marx’s explosive energy, driven by overdriven riffs, intense drumming, and a biting, distorted vocal that rips into societal and political issues. Produced by the acclaimed Erik Miles—whose portfolio includes Soft Play, Baby Dave, Kate Nash, Lady Bird, and Hotwax—the single captures the band’s raw intensity while showcasing their knack for melding raucousness with clarity and direction.
In discussing the single, the band states: “Life is a game filled with plastic smiles and empty promises. Those in power decide the cards we’re dealt and who is born to lose. Seek the Day is a metaphor for this; master puppeteers leading lambs to the slaughterhouse. Welcome to the new order.” The track, recorded at the Forum recording studio in Kent, will be part of their upcoming EP.
Accompanying the single is a striking video created in collaboration with noted videographer Adam Docker, known for his work with Alice in Chains, Tyson Fury, Paolo Maldini, Tiger Woods, Deontay Wilder, Rio Ferdinand, and Jack O’Connell. Docker’s visual interpretation intensifies the track’s powerful message, adding another layer of depth to the band’s already potent delivery.
