Track: Apeman Spaceman – ‘Spacecatraz’

Featuring ex members of post-punk band ‘Dogs’, and ‘Razorlight’, this debut single, released on June 10th, is a fuzz-guitared groove/stomp/swagger, that stays in the head after only a couple of listens. If you like your bands to sound (and look) like a band, as opposed to yodelling science-boffins who swap instruments and beards every other song, then this could be up your street.

Lyrically, it’s a Romeo & Juliet space-prison theme, which we don’t get enough of these days, and surely bodes well for an impending album. They can be caught live at the Sebright Arms (free entry!) just off the Hackney Road on the 10th of June.
