Irish Indie-Folk artist Sarah Buckley returns with the much-anticipated sophomore EP, Wind Chimes. blending gentle, emotive folk with an indie undertone, Sarah invites listeners on an introspective journey through warming tones and delicate melodies.

From the driving shoe-gaze tinted, floating reverb guitar a piano tones of ‘Always Trouble’ to the shuffling acoustic warmth of ‘Puppet Show’, and the deep bass, tight dreams and silky atmosphere of ‘Wind Chimes’, the EP offers some beautiful musicality. Held together and topped with the silky, delicate, fragile vocals of Buckley the EP showcases Sarah’s effortless abilities as a songwriter and performer.

Talking about the EP, Sarah explains: “The Wind Chimes EP, for me, is about acknowledging a tough time or relationships gone wrong, but by the end of the three tracks, being ready to set that tough time aside and move on.”

For the Wind Chimes EP, Sarah collaborated and recorded with Karl Odlum, known for his work with artists like David Kitt and Gemma Hayes – Both this project and its sister EP, Magic Powers, delve into themes of nature and mysticism, enveloped in relatable and razor-sharp lyrics, and brought to life by Sarah’s relaxed and evocative vocal style.

With each new release, Sarah Buckley continues to evolve and expand her musical expression, firmly establishing herself as an artist to watch with a whole host of tastemaker coverage.
