Just in time for an early weekend start, ‘The Pale White’ brings some raucous alternative rock sounds, guitars and melancholic presence to The Green Door Store!

Making a name for themselves, the Newcastle trio have toured with the likes of ‘Maximo Park’ and ’Band of Skulls ‘and even headed to Europe with the mighty ‘Sam Fender’. The band are known for their catchy rock riffs and classic melodies and are ready to fire up the Indie fans down at the Green Door Store.

The band were formed in 2016 and consist of members Adam Hope, Jack Hope and Dave Barrow take their headline tour to Brighton’s infamous Green Store for their second Album ‘The Big Sad’ to be released later in April!

Tagging along for support tonight is Newcastle-based singer-songwriter Lizzie Esau’. She certainly captivated the audience with her raw energy and carefully crafted lyrics. Her songwriting has spanned a decade now, and she is able to sell venues like ‘The Louisiana’ on her own with her powerful top-notch stage impression! Her songs ‘Impossible + Strange’ and ‘Wait Too Long’ are incredibly haunting with a catchy chorus. Killer track ’Bleak Sublime’ is the rock anthem of the night, sung with full throttled passion that even got the audience singing along. With seeing Lizzie command of the stage she certainly would deserve to take over a larger stage during the summer festival season.

As soon as The Pale white hit the stage, the audience where already well and truly warmed as the chords chimed in for ‘That Dress’; hints of Smashing Pumpkins influences can be heard! The set is well crafted with Georgie’s melodic rhythms. With Jack Hope in control of the drums, he took the venue to a whole new level, constantly thrashing his drums as if hellfire had broken! Lead singer ‘Adam Hope’ explains, ‘Lost in the Moment’ is a special song to him, capturing the feeling that suddenly washes over oneself with reminiscence and romanticism ”, a classic melody that captures the emotionally charged set list with true emotion. ‘The Pale White’ have captivated and drawn in tonight’s audience with top notch
performance and sell-out show!
