We fell for the gritty shoegaze of London quartet Cheatahs with their 2014 self-titled debut, more so with the follow up ‘Sunne’ and ‘Murasaki’ EP’s so we’re delighted that they’re back with a follow up, Mythologies – out at the end of the month (30th October) via Wichita Recordings.
Ahead of the release, the band have released a new single, Signs to Lorelei, which is available as an instant download with pre-orders. Opening with this chiming Synth line, it bursts into this brushed, swirling shoegaze that strikes the right balance between melody and melancholy, all shrouded in this rather delicious echo.
