Seriously, if you can’t luxuriate in the pop funk of Kid Blooms new single Electric U, you need to see someone for some Valium, because you need that laid back, slightly blurry vibe (apparently, anyway) that purveys all the way through the bands new single in your life. Its full of ELO like guitar licks and prince brass synth lines, as things twist and turn, with little bass drops here and shimmering strings there, and if you find a catchier melody this month, do let us know. As singer Lennon Kloser says during the chorus “Every time I need my fix, I can get it”I think I may have just found mine.
