News: Audrey Hobert announces debut Australian tour following acclaimed first album

Audrey Hobert is wasting no time making her mark. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter, born in Los Angeles and raised on a steady diet of DIY pop culture, has just released her debut album Who’s the Clown?  to near-unanimous acclaim – and now she’s bringing it to Australia.

Frontier Touring confirmed Hobert will play two intimate shows this October: Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel on October 1st and Melbourne’s Toff in Town on October 2nd. With demand tipped to be sky-high, tickets will only be available through a ballot system.

Go HERE for information on the ballot system.

The tour announcement caps a whirlwind twelve months for Hobert. After years of writing in the shadows, she broke through co-writing multiple tracks on Gracie Abrams’ 2024 album The Secret of Us. Their collaboration produced “That’s So True”, a song Hobert co-wrote, sang backing vocals on, and even performed live alongside Abrams. It went on to top the UK singles chart for eight weeks, becoming a bona fide international hit.

That success paved the way for Hobert’s own voice to shine. Who’s the Clown?, produced by Ricky Gourmet, and was entirely written or co-written by Hobert. The record sways between self-lacerating honesty and sharp pop instincts, her writing building on the chemistry she first honed with Abrams.

Fans who witnessed her onstage with Abrams will know the charisma Hobert brings to a live setting. For the rest, the Lansdowne and Toff dates will be the first chance to see a songwriter in full flight, moving from backstage confidante to centre-stage storyteller.
