News: BTS Confirm Australian Dates on 2026–27 World Tour

Global pop group BTS have confirmed their return to Australia as part of their newly announced 2026–2027 world tour, marking their first headline shows as a full group since 2022. The tour will arrive locally in early 2027 with dates scheduled for Melbourne and Sydney, with venues and ticketing details to be announced in the coming months.

The Australian shows form part of an extensive stadium run promoted by Live Nation, spanning 34 regions and 79 performances worldwide. After opening with three nights in Goyang, South Korea, the tour moves through Japan, North America, Europe and the UK before continuing into Latin America and Asia. Australia appears toward the latter stretch of the itinerary, positioning the Melbourne and Sydney dates as a significant homecoming for local fans after several years away.

While full local details remain under wraps, the production has been confirmed to feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, allowing audiences to surround the performance and increasing capacity across venues. It’s a format that reflects the scale of the tour while aiming to keep a sense of closeness between the group and their audience.

These shows will follow the release of new BTS music, due later in 2026, and continue the group’s long-standing relationship with Australian stadium crowds. Their return places Australia alongside major global stops such as London, Paris, Tokyo and Los Angeles, reinforcing the country’s role within BTS’ international touring circuit.

More information on Australian dates, venues and ticketing is expected soon, with fans encouraged to join the local waitlist ahead of further announcements.
