US rock veterans Clutch will return to Australia in January 2027 for their first headline tour in ten years, joined by fellow heavyweights Corrosion Of Conformity for a run of dates that brings together two of American heavy music’s longest-standing acts.
For more than three decades, Clutch have occupied a distinctive place within heavy rock, combining blues, stoner rock, hard rock and metal into a sound that has remained unmistakably their own. Constant touring and a catalogue that has continued to evolve have helped the Maryland quartet maintain a devoted following, with the band set to arrive in Australia behind their forthcoming fourteenth studio album, their first since 2022’s Sunrise On Slaughter Beach.
Sharing the bill on every headline show are Corrosion Of Conformity, making their first Australian visit since 2020. Formed in North Carolina in the early 1980s, the band have traversed hardcore punk, crossover thrash, sludge and southern metal across a career that includes influential releases such as Blind, Deliverance, Wiseblood and America’s Volume Dealer. Their latest album, Good God / Baad Man, released earlier this year, continues that long-running evolution.
While both bands are also scheduled to appear at Froth & Fury Festival in Adelaide, these headline dates offer fans a chance to see two bands whose careers have helped shape modern heavy music, each bringing decades of experience and a catalogue built for the live stage.
