Rising pop newcomer Envi Jordan is continuing his upward trajectory with the release of his latest single, ‘Somebody To Love’, a vibrant preview of his forthcoming debut album, Envi. Since making waves with his debut single in May last year, the New York-born, Seattle-based artist has steadily built momentum, drawing attention for his emotionally charged, dance-forward sound.

Driven by bouncy basslines and an undeniable sense of feeling, ‘Somebody To Love’ blends grit with euphoria. The track balances intensity and vulnerability, delivering an anthemic pop experience packed with sing-along hooks and kinetic energy. Jordan’s songwriting leans into both personal storytelling and escapist fantasy, creating a sound that resonates on and off the dancefloor.

Accompanying the single is Jordan’s first official music video, marking an expansion of his artistic vision. Speaking about the project, he said, “‘Somebody to Love’ also received my first music video. It felt great to explore a new medium of creation and express myself in that way… expanding the universe of the song with a visual element. I also express myself in dance with the choreography I created, and embolden that with more writing, a spoken word piece at the beginning of the video. As a whole, the ‘Somebody to Love’ project has been cathartic. I definitely look forward to making more music videos in the future.”

The video deepens the song’s themes, opening with a spoken word segment that explores the tension between confidence and self-love. Through a series of carefully constructed scenes, the narrative builds toward a release expressed through movement and music, showcasing Jordan’s range as a multi-disciplinary artist.

The single has already begun to travel internationally, earning radio support in South Africa and charting globally, further evidence of Jordan’s growing appeal. His sound, influenced by icons such as Janet Jackson, Kylie Minogue, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Madonna, channels classic pop energy into a modern, queer-forward perspective.

With a dedicated fanbase known as the “Dreamers” and growing recognition across major stations including KEXP and NPR’s KUOW, Envi Jordan is positioning himself as one to watch ahead of his debut album release, slated for fall 2026.
