The first wave of bands for Fortress 2027 who join Grand Hall headliners, ‘Emperor’ for their fifth anniversary event in North Yorkshire.
Fortress Festival have commented that ‘It’s a struggle to comprehend these kinds of sales right now. We have around 300 passes remaining and then we’re at capacity for 2027. Thank you for supporting this event so early!’
For those planning travel: There will be a preshow on the Friday. Multiple preshows, actually. And it’s usually wise to arrive early to check out the area; York, Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough Castle etc. There’s plenty to do in these parts before the event begins.

In 2027, to coincide with their fifth anniversary celebrations, Fortress Festival are excited to confirm that they will host a Friday pre-show at the Scarborough Spa. This will be sold separately to the main Fortress weekend and will be announced in the future.
There will be other, smaller events happening in town on Friday and Fortress Festival will partner once again with The Cask & Keg to host a free DIY pre-show as well as the afterparty club shows downstairs each night.
No day passes will be released for Fortress 2027. If you want to attend for just one day, hopefully attending the Friday will become an option for you.
