HEILUNG, the innovative band known for their immersive live shows, have announced their upcoming tour across Australia and New Zealand. This tour will include their first-ever performances in Perth, Adelaide, and Brisbane, as well as Auckland, and will see them return to Sydney and Melbourne.

HEILUNG is a unique musical project that transcends conventional genres, blending elements of folk, world, and experimental music to create an immersive, ritualistic experience. The band draws inspiration from the Viking Age, using historical texts, runes, and traditional instruments to evoke the spirit of ancient Northern European cultures. Their performances are more than just concerts; they are elaborate rituals that transport audiences to a different time and place, often featuring elaborate costumes, tribal drumming, and shamanic chanting. HEILUNG’s music is both haunting and healing, aiming to connect listeners with their ancestral roots and the natural world.

Joining HEILUNG will be special guest EIVØR. Hailing from the tiny village of Syðrugøta on the Faroe Islands and with ten studio albums under her belt, as well as numerous collaborations with artists including Àsgeir, John Grant, Einar Selvik (Wardruna) and Dan Heath (Lana Del Ray), Eivør is considered to be one of the most eclectic artists of the Nordics and a mesmerising live vocalist.
