Overmono are heading back to Australia for summer 2026/27, with Welsh brothers Tom and Ed Russell lining up a run that takes in Lost Paradise, Beyond The Valley, Wildlands and THE WORKS, alongside a headline show at Melbourne’s PICA.
The tour follows the August release of the duo’s second album, ‘Pure Devotion’, and marks their first Australian visit since their sold-out headline dates in 2024. They begin at Lost Paradise in Glenworth Valley on December 29 before heading to Beyond The Valley on December 30 and seeing out 2026 at Brisbane’s Wildlands on New Year’s Eve.
The new year takes them west for Wildlands in Perth on January 2, followed by THE WORKS at Sydney’s Carriageworks on January 8. The run finishes at Melbourne warehouse venue PICA on January 9, a Beyond The Valley sideshow and the only other Victorian opportunity to catch Overmono this summer, with the festival already sold out.
Australian audiences have had a front-row view of Overmono’s ascent. Backseat Mafia caught the brothers at Sydney’s Metro Theatre in 2024, where their live show demonstrated just how effectively their mix of rave, techno, UK bass and breakbeat could move from headphones into a packed room. Since then, the scale has changed dramatically, with the duo going on to headline Glastonbury’s West Holts, sell out London’s Alexandra Palace and curate their own Warehouse Project event in Manchester.
‘Pure Devotion’ captures some of that momentum while pushing their music into new territory. Developed partly during writing and recording retreats in Spain and Iceland, the 11-track album reached number one on the UK Dance Albums Chart and number 11 on the UK Albums Chart. It follows a run of tracks including ‘So U Kno’, ‘Good Lies’ and ‘stayinit’ that have made Overmono one of the most recognisable names to emerge from the current UK electronic landscape.
Their Australian return now places that new material back where much of Overmono’s music makes the most sense: in large rooms, warehouses and festival fields. From the open-air sprawl of Lost Paradise to the industrial surroundings of Carriageworks and PICA, the summer run offers several different settings for a live show that has expanded considerably since that 2023 Metro Theatre appearance.
