Swedish-born singer-songwriter SATRE unveils his latest single ‘Stay Away’. This infectious Indie Folk-Pop track is poised to become the anthem of sun-drenched summer days, exuding positivity and a thirst for adventure. With its spirited road trip vibe, the song encourages listeners to fully embrace life’s vibrancy and distance themselves from anything that hampers their aspirations.

SATRE, who has made a name for himself as one of the UK’s most accomplished street performers, draws deeply from his personal journey. After his move from Stockholm to London in 2018 to pursue a music career, SATRE found himself at a crossroads. The heartfelt advice of his sibling, delivered with compassion and love, served as the catalyst for the creation of ‘Stay Away’.

“I had just moved to London from Stockholm and was having a difficult time, contemplating moving back home to be with my family,” SATRE reveals. “My sibling told me that I better stay away! While the term is usually used in quite harsh contexts, in this case, it was meant with love and compassion, as a reminder to keep chasing my dreams.”

The single has already earned the coveted title of ‘Artist’s Pick’ for Future Hits Radio’s ‘Fresh Finds: Folk’ segment, reflecting the industry’s recognition of SATRE’s unique blend of emotional storytelling, seamlessly interwoven with the tranquility of Swedish nature and the dynamism of British urban life.

Influenced by musical luminaries like Bon Iver and The Lumineers, SATRE’s Indie Folk-Pop compositions craft a tapestry of comfort, melancholy, and nostalgia. His lyrics traverse the spectrum of human experience, encompassing life’s darkest moments to the brilliance of fleeting everyday joys.

With ‘Stay Away’ now available, SATRE extends an invitation to listeners to embark on a journey of empowerment and self-discovery. The song’s spirited energy and infectious melodies promise to captivate audiences, delivering an uplifting musical experience that resonates deeply with the soul.
