Steve Kilbey, enigmatic singer and bassist for one of Australia’s greatest exports, The Church, has announced a tour of the US with keyboardist from the legendary The Psychedelic Furs, Amanda Kramer.
Taking place in April, this tour precedes both full bands playing at the Robert Smith-curated Meltdown Festival.
Many of the venues are very small – with capacity for fifteen guests – so hurry for tickets: this will be a very unique event. Kilbey and Kramer will be playing a mix of originals and favourites.
Kilbey and Kramer first met when the Church and the Furs toured together in 2015 and bonded over their mutual love of Dylan, Lou Reed, David Bowie and Burt Bacharach.
