Australian fans are in for a real treat this December as Two Door Cinema Club and Declan McKenna join forces for their first-ever co-headline tour across the country. It’s set to be a standout event, uniting two equally captivating acts for an unmissable run of shows, including an event at the grand Sydney Opera House Forecourt. General sale tickets are available from 11AM tomorrow, Wednesday, 25th September.

Northern Ireland’s Two Door Cinema Club, formed in 2007, have firmly established themselves in the indie rock hall of fame with their signature mix of punchy guitar riffs and electronic beats. They broke through with their 2010 debut ‘Tourist History‘, featuring viral hits ‘Something Good Can Work’ and ‘Undercover Martyn’. Now, five albums deep, their latest release, ‘Keep On Smiling’ (2022), stays true to their infectious, dance-ready sound.

Joining them on stage is Declan McKenna, the English singer-songwriter who rose to fame with his breakout track ‘Brazil’. Known for weaving sharp political commentary into his ever-evolving sound, McKenna’s recently released album, ‘What Happened To The Beach?’, signals a new direction. Now based in LA, his latest work draws on a laid-back California vibe, blending atmospheric elements with his punchy style.

Supporting the tour will be Soft Launch, the rising indie-pop quintet from London who are currently headlining their first UK tour after the release of their debut single ‘Carthweels’ in April.

This co-headline tour will be a rare and exciting opportunity to experience three of indie music’s most exciting acts live.

Tour dates and tickets available here:

Wed 4 Dec – Ice Cream Factory, Perth
Fri 6 Dec – Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Sydney
Sun 8 Dec – Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne
Tues 10 Dec – University of Wollongong Gardens, Wollongong
Thurs 12 Dec – The Station, Sunshine Coast
Fri 13 Dec – Riverstage, Brisbane
Sat 14 Dec – Bar On The Hill, Newcastle
