PREMIERE: Beverly Crusher line up debut with the fired-up polemic of ‘Scab’

Yes please, thank you, we’ll have plenty more of that – you’ll likely find yourself saying similar things after being tossed around by this song for two-and-a-half minutes. Meet Seattlites Beverly Crusher, who today finally give us the debut album announcement we’ve been waiting for.

Said album is called Waste of Waves, lifting its title from the chorus of the song which serves as its lead single: ‘Scab’. It puts the ‘crusher’ in Beverly Crusher and then some, the hyperactive squall of its opening guitar line barely allowing the listener a chance to catch their breath before the verses kick in and all hell breaks loose.

Drummer Sam Stiles says of the song: “We all feel like we’ve been ripped off in life at some point or another, whether it be by the fucked up world we live in, or by our own self destructive behavior. As a song, ‘Scab’ embodies that realization.”

We’re delighted to premiere the video for the song below. Get ready to rage: Waste of Waves lands on Friday August 12th via Freakout Records.
