Yoskos in the Cosmos is a Sydney-based songwriter and producer (Yossif Kafejisky) whose new single ‘Always On My Mind’ we are very pleased to premiere today.
‘Always on my Mind’ is an effervescent slice of driving pop that positively brims with energy, threaded with a little thread of melancholy born from regret and loss.
Kafejiskey says of the single:
Written, produced, and mixed by me in my bedroom. The song was mostly written in a
quick moment, reflecting on a relationship that had fizzled out. I was feeling sentimental
about it and regretting not letting her know how I felt before it was too late. The second
verse came to me when I noticed she had left her necklace at my place and wondered what
that meant, and when I’d give it back. It’s a very simple song to relate to.
His voice is radiant with an impressive range and the music dapples and shimmers in the background. It is a euphoric piece of pure pop with an infectious rhythm:
