Catalan indie pop trio Mourn are back with a new single “Call you Back”, out now via Captured Tracks. Following the bands much lauded debut, 2008’s Sorpresa Familia, the band have had to content with lineup changes (drummer Antonio Postius left the band in 2019) and severing relationships with their Spanish label.
Judging by ‘Call you back’, they pave come through those challenges in a much more positive and, dare we say it, relaxed place. It’s this scruffy, lovable indie rock as the girls all sing harmonies and breeze through this undeniably melodic track.
